Hi, my name is Chris Brower. In 2012, a friend of mine who ran a successful DJ business was looking for another DJ to refer jobs to. I had never DJed before but always loved music, so I thought why not?

Now, over 175 events, tons of 5-star reviews, and $100,000+ in income later, I can truly say that saying “yes” was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. But I still remember how hard and overwhelming it was in the early days. How to get all the music? What equipment do I need? What should I charge? How I can be as sure as possible I don’t mess up one of the biggest days of my clients’ lives? And aren’t wedding DJs all corny dudes with bad mustaches and terrible jokes?

DJing weddings probably won’t make you rich. It might not even replace your day job, but you can still make really nice money, while helping people have an amazing wedding day and something they’ll remember for the rest of their lives (no matter how much they’ve had to drink…).
